Features include a black soft top, air conditioning, pushrod suspension, carbon-fiber bodywork, a Monsoon stereo, 18â³ wheels, power accessories, multi-piston brake calipers, heated mirrors, and Shelby-branded floor mats.The Series 1 was designed by Shelby American and was manufactured at the companyâs facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The carbon-fiber and fiberglass laminate bodywork is mounted on an aluminum chassis, and this example is finished in silver. The interior features bolstered seats with black leather upholstery, gray inserts, and embroidered Shelby signatures. Carbon-fiber trims the shift knob, and amenities include air conditioning, a Monsoon stereo with cassette and CD players, and power windows and locks.The Oldsmobile-sourced 4.0-liter Aurora L47 V8 was rated at 320 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new, and the engine bay features carbon-fiber trim. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle made by RBT with ZF components.
