Fusion Motor Company is Proud to Present a Fully Restored and Modernized 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe  This stunning 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe underwent an extensive refurbishment and modification in 2011 by the skilled team at Walker Autoworks Inc. of Bermuda Dunes, California. Combining classic design with modern performance and comfort, this coupe is an exceptional example of craftsmanship and innovation.  Highlights of the Restoration and Modernization:   Powerful Drivetrain: A fuel-injected Chevrolet 350ci LT1 V8 engine with tuned-port injection, aluminum cylinder heads, a roller camshaft, tubular headers, and chrome accents provides robust performance. It's paired with a Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission featuring a torque converter and a transmission cooler.   Chassis and Suspension: The frame, crossmembers, and suspension components were powder-coated for durability. Upgrades include front coilovers, an anti-roll bar, rack-and-pinion steering, and a rear suspension with leaf springs and shocks.   Braking and Wheels: Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes and black-painted steel wheels with polished hubcaps and trim rings, wrapped in 215/60 American Classic whitewall tires, ensure superior handling and style.  Exterior Excellence:  The body-off restoration included stripping and repainting the car in a sophisticated two-tone silver with a black roof. Rust repair included rebuilding the rocker panels and repairing the inner and outer floors. Exterior features include:   Bright rocker-panel trim and rear-fender stone guards   Chrome bumpers with overriders   Aftermarket headlights, yellow driving lights, and dual sideview mirrors   A two-piece windshield and angled dual exhaust outlets  Luxurious Interior:  The cabin is upholstered in gray leather with darker piping, complemented by matching door panels and side trims. When it comes to cool collectible cars, typically, enthusiasts will choose a classic hot rod, or occasionally a modern-day muscle car, or sometimes collectors will want a car that is just unique and cool. Well, what if you could have a car embodying all three of those characteristics? That's precisely what this 2001 Plymouth Prowler has going for it. Painted in its (believed) original Prowler Silver Metallic, highlighted by hand-applied pinstripes, this neo-hot rod is a head-turner anywhere it goes. But, with just 11,506 miles on the odometer, it hasn't gone too far despite being a quarter of a century old.  Inside this two-seat throwback roadster, we find a beautifully well-kept Agate leather interior almost as clean and stock as the day it was made. The centrally mounted white-faced gauge cluster is only offset by the column-mounted tachometer, which keeps score of every RPM. The stock head unit is a factory piece, complete with a CD changer located behind the passenger seat.  Under the hood, we find the original high-output 3.5-liter DOHC aluminum block and heads V-6 that produces 253 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque.
