The numbers correct radiator was also re-cored. Rally dash has been fully restored with quartz movement added to the clock + all new wiring harnesses. As many NOS parts were used as possible during the restoration including the side exit exhaust tips. Some parts of the car were too nice to be restored/replaced and were simply reused. This includes: seats, headliner, hood, hood pins, air cleaner (original paint)  collapsible rear tire. It is also believed that the vinyl top is original. All the correct markings and paint dabs have been duplicated. The rear louvers and hardware are OEM. Take notice of the VERY RARE rear window trim which is not stainless. If you had louvers on a 1970 'Cuda back in the day, it always included a black vinyl top and black textured rear window trim that matched the pattern of the vinyl top. Ssnake-Oyl reproduction seat belts with correct tags were also used. The grill is the original AAR grill that has been meticulously restored with the exact paint finish at a cost of $2000. The passenger side rear view mirror is an anomaly in that the shape does not match the left side. (one year only). The original carbs were rebuilt and run perfectly  The legendary 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda is a true icon of American muscle car history. 1972 Plymouth Valiant Scamp  - Only 17,935 Original Miles! - 225ci "Slant 6" - Automatic Transmission - Stored Inside a Home In Pontiac, Michigan Before Being Recovered In 2007 With 12,800 Miles - Day 2 Upgrades Include Date Coded Rally Wheels, Air Shocks, Pin Striping, Leather Wrapped Wheel, Door Lock Pins - Recent Service: Cooling, Brakes, Fuel System And Power Steering Pump - Power Steering and Power Drum Brakes (Very Rare And Work Great) - Current Ownership 16 Years (Maintenance Records Included) - Clean, Survivor MOPAR  Offered here is a well-maintained 1972 Plymouth Valiant Scamp in outstanding survivor condition. Showing just 17,935 original miles on its odometer. With its ownership history known and documented, correct Slant-Six powerplant, period-correct, modest upgrades, extremely low mileage, and overall exceptional condition, this MOPAR-survivor is a rare offering.  The white exterior paint shows extremely well: smooth finish, excellent gloss, and no damage. The lime- green, bodyside, double pinstripe is an added and appealing touch cueing the interior color theme. The dark-green vinyl top is in great condition and nicely highlights the roof's concave rear glass. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) There is no damage to any sheet metal. Limited chrome trim has been well- maintained and shows virtually no patina from age. Cabin glass and lighting lenses are clear and undamaged. Factory badging-including the front "Plymouth" badge, "Valiant" emblem and "Scamp" decal on the front fenders, and "Plymouth" trunk-lid badge-is all correctly in place. Date-coded alloy wheels with chrome trim rings are mounted with BFGoodrichÂ® Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.  The interior two-tone green color theme has been beautifully maintained. Door panels included green- painted metal, green vinyl, and woodgrain trim in a horizontal design ("jimmy-free" door-lock pins have been added). The split-bench front seat and rear bench are upholstered in vertically pleated lighter green vinyl with darker green vinyl trim free of any damage or even wear indications. Green carpeting in very good condition covers the floor. The 3-spoke, green steering wheel (with a matching leather rim cover) features a Plymouth-logo center cap and frames standard instrumentation: a square 120-mph speedometer and four smaller circular monitoring gauges mounted on a woodgrain dash panel. The shift lever for the automatic transmission is mounted on the steering column, and the car is equipped with power steering and power brakes. The green padded dash is free of cracks, and its woodgrain trim extends across to the passenger side. The factory push-button AM-FM radio remains mounted. The Scamp's trunk is pristine.  Under the hood, the originality continues in the form of the highly regarded 225-cubic-inch "Slant Six" wearing its Chrysler-blue engine-block paint. All components are properly installed and retain original finishes, for example, the black-painted air-cleaner cover. The engine bay is clean without being overly detailed. Viewed from below, the chassis is straight and complete. Light surface rust is present on untreated metal.
