Rare Cougar XR7 Convertible 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed Concours Restored///  This one-of-a-kind 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible Cobra Jet, known as the "Cougar Eliminator Convertible that never was," is an exceptionally rare, concours-restored American muscle car. Featuring a matching-numbers 428CI Cobra Jet engine with Ram Air, paired with a 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission, this car is one of only 17 XR7 428 CJ 4-speed convertibles produced in 1970-and the only one in Competition Blue with a leather interior.  Meticulously restored with a black power convertible top, black leather bucket seats, power steering, and power front disc brakes, it captures the elegance and power of 1970s muscle. Documented with its original build sheet, Deluxe Marti Report, and ownership history since 1979, and driven less than 200 miles since restoration, this Cougar XR7 is an extraordinary and unique collector's piece.
