Under the hood, we find a version of Ford's venerable 5.0-liter small-block V-8, which sports electronic fuel injection along with stock heads and cam. In stock trim, this V-8 made 188 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, which is funneled through an AOD four-speed automatic transmission before being sent off to fifteen-inch rims shod in big 31-inch all-terrain tires. Hidden behind those big meats are a set of power disc brakes up front and power drums in the rear, ready to scrub off speed whenever called upon.
