This Camaro also sports a factory replacement exhaust system, delivering that unmistakable Z/28 sound.  The restoration retained the original muscle car essence with a radio and heater delete, dark blue upholstery, the Z21 exterior trim package, and the desirable D80 spoiler package. The exterior gleams with new chrome, polished trim, and correct T3 headlights, while the fiberglass cross-ram hood adds a racing touch. You'll also find the correct spiral shocks and new dated Soft-Ray glass.  Attention to detail is evident throughout, with new electrical components, a completely refreshed fuel system, brakes, and brake lines. The car rides on 15x7 Rally wheels wrapped in period-correct Goodyear wide tires, complete with a matching spare and the correct jack. Authenticity was a priority in this restoration; even the factory suspension markings and labels have been painstakingly reapplied. This restored classic 1969 Camaro Z/28 RS Tribute is finished beautifully in LeMans Blue with white rally stripes. The distinctive Rally Sport front end with concealed headlights and electric doors remarkably improves the great design of the Camaro. Additionally, a cowl hood, rear spoiler and chin spoiler make this classic even more desirable. A set of 17-inch polished torque thrust wheels wrapped with performance tires staggered 235/45ZR17 front and 275/40ZR17 in the rear complete the muscle car stance of this Camaro.  The clean black interior is in great condition and is largely stock in appearance. Greeting the driver is a factory-style woodgrain steering wheel, stock gauges and AM radio. The upgraded AutoMeter oil pressure and water temperature gauges are mounted on the console just beyond the factory horseshoe shifter. This 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 takes the bold looks of a speedy Z-car and backs it up with a strong running V8 and transmission combo.  Plus, all the other investments inside and out create one of the most appealing driver packages around.  There's a mean style that comes on a car with such a dark blue that it almost looks black in some lights. And the triple-blue stripe package is a well-coordinated piece for this total package.  It sets the tone right for a proper Z/28.  Plus, you have the right details, like the chin spoiler that wraps around to the wheel openings, a proper power dome hood, fender vents, and the three-piece spoiler out back.  The overall look of the finish is glossy and fun for a driver-quality car.  You may want to do some updating on your own time or remove the custom graphics under the rear spoiler. But the reason why there's so much overall appeal is that when you take the time to be thoughtful about a car like this, there are some awesome custom details, too.  For example, you're going to love taking this to a nighttime cruise-in because you not only have LED halo headlights, but also the cowl hood has a cool blue glow that coordinates with the car's color theme.      The black interior has a sporty style and a fresher feel.  The best place to understand that is the front seats.  They are newer Procar style individual bucket seats that give you comfortable support.  And the taut headliner, nice door panels, and smooth dash make this quite inviting.  There's the right comfort with power windows,  an armrest center console, a retro-style AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to bow cold again.)  And this is built to be a fun driver with an upgraded sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and a carbon fiber gauge panel with backlit AutoMeter Cobalt readouts. Plus, it has push-button start!  The moment you open the hood, you can tell the motor is far from stock.  It has the bright and clean look of thoughtful investments.  And while polished pieces are often there to impress, this one has the elements like the fabricated valve covers, upgraded pulleys, and a large aluminum radiator that tell you the shiny pieces also have substance. At the center is a freshly installed 350 cubic-inch V8.  It has been enhanced with an Edelbrock fuel pump, an Assault Racing dual plane aluminum intake, and topped with an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor.  Headers add power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust, and any time you really want to bring the thunder, this has electric cutouts.  It's a powerful car, and so it has a beefed-up TH350 three-speed automatic transmission feeding a 3.73 rear end with Richmond gears and Positraction.  As you look underneath, you'll spot some nice rear upgrades like the thick sway bar and Caltracs traction bars.  And there's also power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a nice set of BF Goodrich T/As on shining Torq Thrust wheels.
