Find the Ultimate Machine in a BMW built for the track with comforts for the street. In 2002, the BMW Z4 for sale replaced the Z3. The roadster is larger, resolving any complaints about the small size of its predecessor. The new Z car comes as a coupe or convertible. The car has made leaps and bounds over its predecessor in terms of fit and finish. The BMW roadster has a more welcoming interior, a softer ride that doesn't compromise handling prowess, and smoother transmission linkage. Engines choices have changed a little over the years. At first, available with either a 2.5- or 3.0-liter I-6. The 2.5 made 185 horsepower while the 3.0 made a sportier 225 horsepower. After 2005, BMW upped the ante of the Z4 roadster by offering two different engines. The two engines were both 3.0-liters but one was rated at 215 horsepower and the other was rated at 255 horsepower. The M roadster and M coupe also continued on with the use of the M3 engine. The second-generation car debuted in 2009. A retractable hardtop did away with the need for both a roadster and coupe. Two versions of the car are made available for the United States. The 30i has a 3.0-liter I-6 making 255 hp, like the previous generation's most powerful model. The new engine offered will be available in 35i trim and consist of a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged I-6 making 300 horsepower. A seven-speed double-clutch transmission is also available. Look for a used coupe for sale with moderate miles as the reliability has greatly increased and higher mileage used BMW Z4's have shown to be proven cars. If you are looking for a Z4 convertible for sale, be sure to have the power top inspected for rips and natural wear and tear.

BMW creates invigorating cars that connect drivers to the road. The roadster is their sports car that is so indulgent a driving experience that you may find yourself drawn to the steering wheel looking for more. The small Roadster boasts a power output of 335 horsepower and 0-60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. While the vehicle is small, its elongated hood decreases wind resistance and enables it to reach speeds of up to 165 mph. Those who own one will always own a Z4, as the luxury roadster touches the hearts of true enthusiasts who want to feel a connection to the road. If it’s an experience you want, you want this car.

Z-4-s-drive-3-5-i-s. In the absence of the M Roadster, the little two-door with the folding hardtop continues with a brass new color, among a few other small styling changes, and the same alphameric jumble of a name. The changes are not enough to get it close to the startlingly attractive Zagato concepts that popped up in 2012, but that may be due to how closely those concepts resembled some Zagato-designed Alfa Romeos. Still, the latest sports car looks good; the classic roadster look long hood and small passenger cabin just ahead of the rear axle are subtly enhanced by slim, long new headlamps. They can be ordered with a new Valencia Orange metallic paint and a new equipment package that adds the selected colors to some of the interior pieces. Carrying on is the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6. It creates 35 more horsepower than the sDrive35i and five more than the last Z4 M. All together, with the standard sport-package will surely attract its fair share of attention, maybe even as much as if it were an official M.

The Z4 roadster at the top of its food chain. Efficient Dynamics is their new mantra for increased power along with efficiency. It is achieved by fitting the 335 horsepower 3.0-liter TwinPower straight-six while maintaining a near-perfect weight balance. This allows the sports car to bob and weave with exceptional fluidity. The best retractable hard top in the industry has the insulation and rigidity of a coupe with the ability to go topless in 22 seconds at speeds up to 25 mph. Deep bolstered leather seats are elevated above the floor, and when combined with a low beltline, claustrophobia is a problem of the past. A big 8.8-inch HD screen keeps infotainment within easy reach without distracting the driver. Though the windshield pillars may seem a bit chunky, just remember they make the car stiffer and safer in case of a rollover. But, rollovers are now banished to the history books, thanks to the latest in Dynamic Stability Control. Forget the clichés associated with roadsters of the past. No sacrifices must be made to make this your daily driver.

The BMW Z4 is a roadster that has long been anticipated. It flaunts a classic body with a modern twist. Curvy with sharp lines and a refined sense of sophistication, the Z4 exudes curb appeal. It is wider than former generations and has an even 50-50 weight distribution with active aerodynamic engineering in place to maximize the vehicle’s performance in any venue. It avoids the pitfalls of other open-air models by utilizing a light-weight soft top. Engineers agonized over the top to ensure that it would seamlessly integrate into the Z4 roadster’s body while open and closed. Likewise, designers wanted to ensure that opening and closing the top would be quick and easy. In the end, they developed a system that allows the top to close in just ten seconds flat while traveling at speeds up to 31 mph. In the cockpit, the Z4 is graced with either SensaTec or Vernasca leather over M S Sports seats and the Sport steering wheel. A Live Cockpit Professional comes standard, with data displayed on 10.25-inch screens. The Driving Assistance Package is also included, which boasts several crucial features like Active Driving Assistant, Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning. One of the most advanced tech-savvy features in the BMW Z4 is the Head-Up Display, which projects full-color information directly on the windshield ahead; allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road while obtaining the data needed.
