New and Pre-owned BMW Z3 for Sale

The BMW Z3 was the small, two-seat roadster offered by BMW until being replaced by the Z4 in 2002. The Z3 was a beautiful sports car that went for the driving dynamics of an old British roadster. With it's short overhangs, low weight, and high-powered engine, the Z3 was a dream to drive. The BMW Z3 came with a five-speed manual transmission although a four-speed automatic was an option. The Z3 was offered in convertible and the rare coupe format, which was more of a hatchback.

The bad boy of the Z3 world was the M Roadster and Coupe. The M-cars used a 3.2-liter I-6 engine shared with the sporty M3. The coupe, with its lower weight over the rear wheels, was more of a beast to handle and would bite back by letting its tail out if not in the hands of a qualified driver.
