Used Bentley Continental GT For Sale
The color palate of the interior and bodywork on the Bentley Continental GT is subject to frequent change, as is exterior trim, much of it performance- or luxury-enhancing, on different trim levels and model years. Selected 20-inch two-piece alloy wheels and bespoke high-performance tires are standard on the GT’s special editions.
Since its debut in 2003 to join Bentley’s new-generation range – which, coincidentally, weighed in at 2.5 tons – the Bentley Continental GT has personified a hybrid of sporty new-age performance and classic British opulence. Available in the grand touring formula of a large, fast luxury coupe, it offers Olde England looks and leather-lined, burled wood interior treatment with a modern, thoroughly contemporary, thoroughly over-engineered, thoroughly unibodied, sports sedan under the skin. That combination of an upscale leather and wood veneer interior treatment atop modern tunnel-hooking technology (the mainstream model’s aluminum 552 hp W12, which goes from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and to a top speed of 197.6 mph) pays for maximum luxury-stated-as-function. The roomy, daily drivable GT was designed for long-haul cruising.
The interior of the GT is decorated in a riot of customization. The car is available with five wood veneering choices, plus four carpet and seatbelt colors before you then get to the leather, of which there are hundreds of options. The leather-lined cabin is insulated from outside noise by a thick layer of sound-deadening materials. Inside, you are wrapped in a cocoon of silence.
The GT convertible followed in 2006, but with the same powertrain as the hardtop, ditto its weight, albeit a little slower thanks to the convertible top (and structural reinforcements); it was 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds.
The new GT automobile has been designed by the British manufacturer with auto fanatics in mind- people who love both the theatrics of driving, as well as implausible comfort. It is made using premium components and utilizing cutting-edge technology which puts the driver, and the onlooker at the heart of the experience. This luxurious source of transport is unparalleled and combines the best in comfort with the best in performance. The steering wheel has been newly designed for the latest model, and the seating takes the form of a straight flute - considered to be the consummate luxury. It has also been re-engineered, just like the W12 unit under the bonnet of the vast coupe. The new engine delivers a breathtaking 582 brake horsepower and a staggering 531 pound-feet of unadulterated torque. It can get the motor car from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Plus, the fuel efficiency has been improved with a combined consumption of 19.9 mpg. This impressive sweet machine claims to represent the best that luxury can offer on the road - without compromising the racing DNA at its core.
Cooperative cribbing, the equivalent of political campaigns featuring frequent leadership changes. This GT initially seized the title of fastest GT with a top speed of 202 mph, but a model with 204 mph quickly snatched the crown. Now, the new GT leads the pack with a 205 mph top speed. The car’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W-12 pumps out 616 hp, yes, a 50 hp increase from the base car; the new face has an even more powerful engine. Paired with an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission that increases both performance and efficiency while distributing power through an all-wheel-drive system with a 40:60 torque split, the car sets the standards for both design and manufacture. The largest carbon-ceramic brakes ever to offer production brakes boast another title for the model.

Bentley Continental GT (Third Generation)
The latest Bentley of note is the Continental GT – elegant, powerful, and probably the biggest surprise of the car’s variety of offerings. The brand has certainly made its mark as a luxury powerhouse, two-seating sports cars alongside exorbitantly priced and drool-worthy Sports Utility Vehicles such as the Bentayga ($230,300), their very best seller so far (not bad for a new move into the SUV world). Nevertheless, after so delving into, developing, making, and selling models of great girth and heft, it’s apt to see them return a little to the mainstay of their most celebrated series – the grand tourer – a nearly two-decade-old gem in their portfolio that then gave way to a series of variants saturating the market in sleek, muscular styles and sells. Much despite their success, the arrival of the GTC was set back by one year to retrofit some last-minute refinements. So now adventurers anticipating and awaiting the arrival of the 2018 Continental GT have in their hands something more enhanced by a couple of generations than simply optimized from its 2003 debut for current markets. Armed to impress – and it really does – the Continental GT is now driven by a 6.0-liter W12 Twin Turbo DOHC 48-valve engine putting out 626 hp, 664 pound-feet of torque, and 3.6 seconds (unofficial time) from 0-60 miles per hour. Seriously beefy proceedings for Bentley’s most powerful 12-cylinder powertrain to date. Mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission – again, the Continental GT’s first to a Bentley car – it’s just another opportunity for Bentley to beef up its sportsmanship simply by reimagining key elements of the genre. With 22-inch wheels rolling down the road, accompanied by streamlined, oval-shaped exhaust pipes positioned underneath the car, further chrome accenting to the fender vents, and an expansively curved rear, one can only stand back and admire.
Pure power like the twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 engine in the all-new Bentley Continental GT continues to shine from within the signature remastered body now come in both a coupe or a convertible as a luxury grand tourer. Both deliver a stately 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque and have a top speed of 207 mph. Moving inside both the coupe and convertible is the ultra-plush Bentley way and their supremely crafted interiors are designed with luxury in mind and are understated yet regal with interior mood lighting and a customizable rotating circular display and exhibit active roll control with a variety of electric steering components creating the pinnacle of motoring joy and prestige for the latest Bentley Continental GT.
