This SOMO-Alumni 1991 Acura NSX presents in Red over a Black leather interior, featuring iconic of-the-era styling throughout. Pop-up headlights, an integrated rear spoiler, and side air intakes feeding mid-engine power complete this 90s hero car. Inside, passengers are greeted by 4-way power-adjustable seats, Bose audio, and more. Collector-owned from new, comprehensive records accompany the sale. In 2020, the timing belt, water pump, and drive belts were replaced in addition to a full fluid flush and an air conditioning repair. Recent replacement of all tires and proactive maintenance pairs with a thorough detail completed prior to this sale. Full paint protection and whole-car PPF plus ceramic coating under previous ownership ensure exemplary condition. Showing fewer than 8,000 miles, this investment-grade coupe is offered with a clean title, Carfax report, and Seller’s Disclosure. 

Developed as Honda's ambitious foray into the high-performance market, the Acura NSX debuted in 1990. The groundbreaking vehicle challenged European dominance in the sports car segment with unprecedented performance and reliability. Design of the NSX leveraged Honda's extensive experience in Formula 1 racing with novel tech tip to tail. The car’s mid-engine layout, an all-aluminum monocoque body—a first for a production car, and model-specific powertrain signaled a new era in Honda’s performance legacy.  

For model-year 1991, the NSX arrived powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine equipped with innovative VTEC &#40;Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control&#41;, producing 270hp and 210lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission offered exhilarating performance and a top speed of around 168 mph. The car’s balanced chassis claimed both a low center of gravity and engaging dynamics. Setting new standards for its competition, Acura’s NSX made its mark.
