1998 Dodge Viper GTS-R (GT2) - #23 of 100 Championship Editions built, 284 miles, mint condition.  One of the lowest mile GTS-Rs known to exist, and a true centerpiece for any serious sportscar collection.  As the story of the iconic Dodge Viper is told, this such ultra low mile holy-grail example is, and will always be the ONE that is cherished and coveted above all others.

 This commemorates Chrysler’s winning the 1997 FIA world championship and the class victory in the 1998 24 hours of Le Mans.  These came from the factory with unique GTS-R badging, staggered 18” BBS alloy wheels, Oreca 5-pt racing harnesses, blue and black interior leather seats with color matched dashboard, console and door panels, stone white clearcoat exterior paint with blue stripes, full aero package that includes a front splitter and canards, ground-effect side skirts, and a fixed rear wing.

 Power is provided by the legendary 460hp 8.0L V-10, mated with the Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission with limited-slip differential, providing 500 lb-ft of torque.

 Additional factory amenities include projector-style headlights, air conditioning, Alpine AM/FM CD stereo, fog lights, dual rear exhaust, vented hood, 4-wheel vented disc brakes with Viper-branded calipers, power windows, adjustable foot pedals, tilt steering wheel, and dual airbags.

 Also included are the extensive documents and memorablilia from the factory (window sticker, assembly photos, custom GT2 car cover, race-team pictures and brochures, lithographs, owner’s manual and supplements, Viper team welcome letter, and loads more).  She has been collector owned and cared for her entire life, with the provenance well preserved for future generations.  She resides in our Northern California Auto Gallery collection.
